Marketing Coordinator


O’Connell & Lawrence, Inc., a Construction Consulting and Civil Engineering Firm in the Baltimore/Washington DC area is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our Olney, MD office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent verbal, written, organizational, time management, communication, and computer skills.

Responsibilities include assisting with lead generation/tracking, identifying project opportunities, organizational strategy, proposal development and production, proposal quality and the delivered product. Must also prepare and edit letters of interest, coordinate/prepare qualifications packages, proposal responses, and other marketing materials for submittals and presentations in coordination with Principals, Project Managers and the Marketing Director. Participates in conferences and other promotional events as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, English, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing professional services within the A/E/C industry.

  • Microsoft Office experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Deltek Vision.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign.

  • Strong spoken and written communications skills.

  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Ability to work effectively individually and within team environments.

 

Salary commensurate with experience.
